Written scope before work begins
Every engagement starts with a written agreement covering deliverables, pricing, and timing so both sides know exactly what is being approved.
This page explains Tekpair’s service commitments, project policies, payment terms, ownership rules, cancellation requirements, scope limitations, and legal terms in plain language.
These commitments apply to Tekpair’s process, communication, payment handling, and delivery of the work included in your written agreement.
Every engagement starts with a written agreement covering deliverables, pricing, and timing so both sides know exactly what is being approved.
Changes outside the original agreement are discussed and documented before they affect the project price, timeline, or deliverables.
Tekpair-created deliverables, source files, and project assets included in the agreement are transferred after the final balance is paid.
When a request falls outside Tekpair’s capabilities or the agreed scope, we say so clearly and help point you toward a more appropriate solution.
Invoices and payments are handled through Square. Tekpair.com does not collect, process, or store customer payment information.
Every project is covered by a written agreement outlining deliverables, timeline, and pricing. No work begins until both parties have signed — or on the start date stated in the agreement.
Projects estimated over $1,000 — or that require significant or hands-on work — require a 50% deposit upfront. This secures your spot in our schedule and protects both sides. The agreement covers everything in full.
The remaining balance is always due before delivery. Final files and access are transferred once the balance is paid in full.
If anything changes while we work that wasn't already covered in the agreement, we amend the agreement to cover it — so pricing and timeline always reflect what's actually being done.
If you cancel before any work has begun, you receive a full refund, issued back to your original payment method.
If you cancel once work has already started, the 50% deposit is not returned — it covers the work completed to date. You'll receive all deliverables produced up to the point of cancellation.
For standard (non-retainer) clients, you have 7 calendar days to pay for completed work in order to receive it. After 7 days, the right to receive that completed work is forfeited.
Retainer agreements require 30 days written notice by email to cancel. Services are provided up until the date of cancellation.
Once work has been completed and delivered, there are absolutely no refunds. We check in daily and welcome feedback throughout, so everything is right before final delivery.
All invoices are handled and processed through Square. There is absolutely no payment collected on tekpair.com.
We offer Net-15 terms for retainer clients only — invoices must be paid within 15 calendar days of the invoice date. All other invoices follow the terms stated in your agreement.
We don't charge late payment interest — because we don't do late payments. Payment terms are agreed upfront, and balances are settled before delivery.
Tekpair.com does not collect, process, or store any payment information. All invoicing and payment processing is handled exclusively through Square.
Upon final payment, you receive full IP ownership of all content produced for you by Tekpair.
Tekpair reserves the right to showcase completed work for our portfolio and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any third-party assets used in your project (stock photos, fonts, plugins, etc.) are licensed under their respective terms. Ownership of these assets does not transfer — only the license to use them as part of your project.
All source code, design files, and project assets are delivered once final payment is received.
We only provide services as described in our agreements. Any work requested outside the original agreement requires an amendment to that agreement.
Hosting, domain registration, and third-party subscriptions are the client's responsibility unless explicitly agreed otherwise in the scope of work. If Tekpair ends up paying for hosting or third-party subscriptions, the client is responsible for reimbursing Tekpair the full amount, including any taxes.
We are not responsible for outages or disruptions caused by third-party services, including hosting providers, APIs, payment processors, or other external platforms.
If we're not able to handle something, we'll tell you upfront and recommend a different service provider or agency. We'd rather point you in the right direction than overpromise.
By engaging and using Tekpair's services, you agree to all of these terms, confirm that all information you submit is accurate and your own, and confirm that you are authorized to use all personal information and payment methods provided.
Tekpair is not responsible for third-party service outages, data loss caused by external platforms, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from our services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from services provided by Tekpair shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Albany County, New York.
Before pursuing any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us directly at connor@tekpair.com. We resolve the vast majority of issues quickly and fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitration Rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are effective as of June 29, 2026. For questions, contact connor@tekpair.com.
Reach out before signing or paying. We would rather clarify the scope, timeline, or terms upfront than leave either side guessing later.
